Yes, there are some limitations to what a Home Warranty plan can cover. LHG always has its customers in mind. We meticulously study and evaluate which systems and appliance breakdowns are most likely to disrupt your home to ensure we cover you for what matters most. Home Warranties cover breakdowns that occur due to normal wear and tear. Take for example if a fan in your AC unit breaks due to natural use, that’s where LHG would step in to cover the replacement. However, if that AC was broken from human misuse or a natural event, it would not fall under our coverage. The good news is, in the event it occurred because of a natural event such as a hurricane, homeowner’s insurance may cover the damage.

You can start requesting service after 30-60 days depending on the coverage you purchase. If you purchased your plan while buying your home, ask your agent about whether or not we start coverage on the day escrow closes.

If you have set up automatic payments with us, will send your new contract 30 days before the old one expires. If you are not on an automatic payment system, you can continue coverage by logging into your account or calling us toll free at (833) 544-8273.
Yes, you can cancel at any time. If your cancelation occurs within the first 30 days of your coverage, we’ll refund your contract fees minus the cost of claims paid, and a small administrative overhead fee. If you cancel after the 30th day, you’ll receive a pro-rated refund of your contract fees for the rest of the contract term minus the cost of claims paid, and a small administrative overhead fee.
