The majority of Black + Decker products are covered by a two-year limited warranty. Some tools—specifically 36V, 40V, and 60V outdoor tools—have a three-year warranty. If your Black + Decker tool or appliance fails within the warranty period as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship, the company will pay for all costs associated with the item’s repair. In some cases, Black + Decker will replace the item entirely.
If you opt to repair your item, note that you must take your tool or appliance to a Black + Decker Authorized Service Center. The company will not pay for a noncertified technician to service a Black + Decker product.
Finally, Black + Decker’s limited warranty covers only issues that arise from faulty parts or workmanship. Accidental damage and malfunctions directly related to misuse or abuse of a product are not covered.
