AGA Appliance Repair & Warranty

AGA Appliance Repair & Warranty

As one of the leading providers of kitchen appliances, AGA is renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and reliable performance. To ensure that its customers get the most out of their investments, AGA offers extensive warranty coverage for its products. In this article, we’ll provide an overview of the warranty coverage available for AGA appliances, including what is covered and what is excluded. We’ll also share how you can repair AGA kitchen appliances after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

AGA Warranty Coverage

AGA kitchen appliances come with a limited manufacturer's warranty that lasts up to two years from the date of purchase. Most appliances are warrantied for one year, but refrigeration products are warrantied for two years. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation, and any other condition that is not the result of a defect in the appliance. AGA warranties also do not apply to products that are used in commercial settings. The manufacturer’s warranty is intended for residential use.

Some products have extended warranty coverage for parts only. An AGA oven, for example, has a one-year parts and labor warranty but five-year parts-only warranty.

Using Your AGA Warranty

Homeowners who purchase AGA appliances should register their products with the company as soon as possible. This is possible directly on AGA’s website. The appliance’s serial number is required.

If your AGA appliance breaks down, first contact the manufacturer to determine if the appliance and problem are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If your warranty is active, you can make a claim for repair. AGA will determine if the appliance should be shipped away for repair or if a technician can make a home visit.

Repairing an Older AGA Appliance

If your AGA warranty has already expired, you can contact an independent technician to have your appliance repaired. If you’d prefer to use authentic parts, such as AGA stove parts or AGA range parts, you can purchase these directly from the company. Otherwise, your technician will likely use third-party parts.

Independent repair may be expensive, of course. You can potentially save money by purchasing home warranty coverage before your appliance develops a problem. You can use a Liberty Home Guard home warranty to repair virtually any appliance in your home, AGA units included. With active coverage, all you need to do is submit a claim using our proprietary Customer Portal.
