Users have a couple of options for extended Sony electronics protection. The company doesn’t usually offer Sony extended warranties, but they do offer Sony protection plans. One example is the Sony Extended Service Plan (ESP). With this plan, users have access to Sony support and Sony technicians, but coverage is limited to five years. If you purchase Sony’s ESP with accidental damage coverage, that coverage window is only four years.

Of course, Sony’s protection plans are limited to Sony products, as well. If you want extended protection for a Sony Playstation, Samsung television, and Bose headphones, you’ll need to pay for multiple policies.
